Even though I haven't been superb with exercise, I've been very strict with my eating. Here is a short overview of my food on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Breakfast: wholegrain oatmeal with plum yogurt (0,1% fat), 2 wholegrain toast with low fat cheese
Snack: wholegrain muffin with carrot, 1 glass of champaign (well, colleagues bday..)
Lunch: basmati rice with celery, egg white, red beans, 1 glass of water, 1 coffee with milk
Dinner: stewed fish with grated carrot and onion, 2 pieces of wholegrain toast with butter, 1 cup of milk
Snack: 2 apples, 1 cup of yogurt, 2 wholegrain toasts with homemade honey
Water during day: 5 cups
Exercise: morning 30 min of tai chi, 15 min of regular exercise, walking 30 min
Breakfast: 2 egg whites, 3 slices of low fat ham, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of yogurt
Snack: 1 glass of water, 1 coffee with milk, 1 sea buckthorn wholegrain muffin
Lunch: stewed fish with grated carrot and onion, 1 glass of water
Snack: 1 apple, 4 glasses of water, 1 cup of coffee with milk and sugar (buhuu!)
Dinner: stewed shrimps with low fat philadelphia cheese, big bowl of fresh carrot and leek salad, 1/2 cup of milk
Snack: 1/2 apple, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 cups of water
Water: 7 glasses
Exercise: walking on fast pace 15 min x 2
Tomorrow morning I'm off to Germany, so I have a lot of airport and railway stations walking to do, and will have a chance to take a few hours walk around the city. Overall the following days there I plan to eat very low-GI, walk around as much as I have time between classes and fly back home on Sunday to discover, that I have walked away some weight again, riiight?
I have also discovered that there are quite a lot of ppl on Instagram hashtaging their low-gi foods with #lowgi. I have been really inspired by what I've discovered there, getting some real nice ideas what to eat and cook and in which combinations, ideas from all around the world. The most abstract and most world-wide cookbook ever! Hah! So I've started tagging some of my own foodporn as well.
Ok. Got to sleep! I think my new year resolution is going to be to LEARN TO GO TO SLEEP sometimes before 2 AM. Cause now its almost 5 AM...!
